La Rapida SA manufactures the products, according to customers' drawings and specifications, starting with either rolled bars, envelope or precision forgings or precision cast parts.
The company can offer the entire supply chain providing a complete service starting from the procurement of material up to the activities beyond machining, which are outsourced and carried out by qualified partners with whom long-term collaboration agreements were reached.
A team of 9 engineers with a wide experience in the sector is working daily in oder to grant the realization of an outstanding product and providing best support to the customer.
Modern machinery and versatile 5 and 6 axes CNC work centers managed from a CAD-CAM system are daily used by our technicians. Grinding, Milling, Turning and Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) are available for the realization of the products.
A Stem Drilling unit built up in 2005 has been active for chemical drilling (ECM) of gas turbine hot parts: holes are drilled with diameters from 0.5 to 8 mm and length of 500mm.
All the production processes are controlled in-house. Special working equipment and tools are all manufactured internally.
If required, the blade's profile polishing is carried out manually by a highly qualified staff also for the most complex geometries. Vibro finishing is also available.
The dimensional inspection and the non-destructive testing are carried out by qualified operators. The activity is attested by a final certificate of conformity.
Worth to be mentioned, the company has an internal department dedicated to the production of special cutters as well as a maintenance department made up of 5 technicians operative 24 h/day.
During all production phases, the quality controls necessary for the production process documentation are systematically carried out: geometric controls with CMM and non-destructive testing; FPI, MPI, spectrographic-analysis are all undertaken by highly trained and qualified technicians, accredited by well known external certifying Authorities.
If required, other special tests such as X-Ray, U.C.D. metallurgical tests, etc, can all be arranged externally with specialized and approved laboratories, with whom the company has long established co-operation agreements.
Packaging is carried out according to the customers' specifications and requirements.
Last but not least, support in the logistics and customs procedures can be provided.
